CARIBOU HIGHLANDS LODGE, Lutsen

Caribou Highlands Lodge at Lutsen Mountains provides lodge rooms, condos, townhomes, and Poplar Ridge homes. Condos are located near the indoor and outdoor pools, and Moguls Grille & Tap Room. Townhomes offer mountain views and ski-in/ski-out access. Poplar Ridge Homes include 4- and 5-bedroom options near the Moose Access ski trail and Poplar River. Poplar Ridge accommodations can be rented as a whole or as individual components, each with a private entrance. A Poplar Ridge Studio includes a mountain view, whirlpool tub, balcony, fireplace, mini fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. Amenities include TVs, personal storage, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, sitting area, dining table, garden furniture, cookware/kitchen utensils, and AM/FM alarm clocks. Some units include a balcony, fully equipped kitchen, sofa, and fireplace.

Moguls Grille and Tap Room is a ski-in-ski-out style restaurant with a fireplace and partial open kitchen. Papa Charlie's Tavern provides pub food and live music. The Summit Chalet has views of Lake Superior and mountaintop vistas, located at the top of Moose Mountain. Rosie's Cafe offers quick bites and grab-and-go options. Only pizza and wings are available for takeout, served on a 12" crust.

Guests can access both rugged and paved trails for biking. Caribou Highlands provides on-site bike repair and washing stations. The resort includes indoor and outdoor pools and a hot tub. Guided climbing tours are available through Stone Harbor Wilderness Supply. The 27-hole Superior National golf course is nearby. Guests have access to an outdoor pool overlooking Moose Mountain. During the winter, there are four different mountains for skiing and the only gondola in Mid-America.

Caribou Highlands Lodge is located at Lutsen Mountains, 1 km from Lutsen Mountains and 7 km from Moose Mountain. Cascade River is 4 km away. The newly paved Gitchi Gami Trail is at the bottom of Ski Hill Road. Temperance River State Park is a 10-minute drive away. Lake Superior charter fishing is available in Two Harbors. The Superior Hiking Trail is near the lodge.

Caribou Highlands is a smoke-free environment, including all balconies and patios. Concierge services are available for golf experiences. Dog-friendly lodging options are available. The lodge accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. Housekeeping services include replacing used towels, changing bed linen every 3rd day, vacuuming floors, and taking out trash. The resort lobby is accessible. Bike wash and repair stations, and shuttles are available. The property allots one parking spot per accommodation for lodge rooms and condos, and one to two parking spots for townhomes and Poplar Ridge Homes.
